Tropical Mango Mimosa Cocktail โ€” A fun, easy, and refreshing twist on the classic mimosa drink!! A party favorite at your next brunch or event! Everyone will want REFILLS!!

Easy Mango Mimosa Cocktail

I hope you’re with friends and family, enjoying good food, and having a relaxing day and that tomorrow will be the same. And I hope you quench your thirst with a mimosa drink. Or three.

Rather than orange juice, I added mango nectar to champagne to make this easy mimosa recipe. I love anything mango and it’s a fun and easy twist on classic mimosas. Perfectly sweet and refreshing.

Add as much as you like. Mango nectar or mango juice is easy to find in the grocery store. Look for it in the juice aisle.

If you’ve ever had a bellini (a peach nectar mimosa, more or less), these taste similar.

Mango Mimosa Ingredients

This mimosa drink recipe calls for very few ingredients:

  • Champagne or prosecco
  • Mango nectar or juice
  • Strawberry and mango slices, for garnish

How to Make Mimosas (by the Glass or Pitcher!)

I usually fill my champagne flute about two-thirds full with champagne and top off with about one-third of the mango nectar.  I like to garnish my mango mimosa cocktail with a strawberry slice and a mango slice, just because.

You can also make pitcher mimosas if you’re serving them for a brunch event or party. Just use the same bubbly to mango nectar ratio. Cheers!

What’s the Best Prosecco for Mimosas?

Use your favorite champagne or prosecco. I recommend something on the dryer side so the mimosas aren’t overly sweet after the addition of the mango nectar.

Tips for Making the Best Mimosas

Since there are so few ingredients in this mimosa drink, it’s important that you buy a decent quality bottle of prosecco or Champagne. I totally understand if you don’t want to splash out the big bucks, but it’s worth the few extra dollars to buy a nicer bottle of bubbly.

Mango nectar or mango juice can be found at almost any grocery store alongside the other juices.

If making a mimosa pitcher, wait until your guests have arrived to quickly assemble the cocktails as the prosecco loses its fizziness over time.

I can’t wait for next Christmas now while we’re swimming in the pool! It’s always ultra hot for us in tropical Queensland plus it’s mango season. You can see them hanging from the roadsides and they are cheap. I could make my own juice :)
