Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie โ A smoothie that tastes like a strawberry pina colada!! Fast, easy, refreshing, naturally sweet, and made with ONLY 3 INGREDIENTS!
Easy Strawberry and Pineapple Smoothie
Summer is in full swing and I know you’re in need of some hydration. I’ve got just the thing to quench your thirst with this tropical tasting drink.
It’s fast, easy, refreshing, made with only 3 ingredients โ strawberries, pineapple, Silk Coconut Milk โ and it’s definitely delicious.
The Silk #TastesLikeBetter campaign is rooted in providing delicious dairy-free products that inspire people to live a life grounded in positive choices that offer both taste and nutrition. Silk products are dairy-free, lactose-free, cholesterol-free, and free from artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives.
I have been a Silk advocate and fan for many years. Whether it’s using Cashewmilk in many of my favorite recipes to the Coconut Milk I am all about Silk. Register for Silkโs email list to receive a coupon.
This strawberry pineapple smoothie is perfect for your next summertime party. I love punches and cocktails as much as the next person, but having a non-alcoholic option for kids and adults alike is a summertime party must.
Other summer party tips include making appetizers and side dishes ahead of time that taste good, if not even better, after a night in the fridge so that the flavors can marry.
And you want to choose recipes that are able to be kept at room temp for hours while the party is underway.
Some of my favorites because you can make them ahead and they hold wonderfully include Blueberry Corn Salsa, Skinny Mexican Bean and Corn Salad, Lemon, Sun-Dried Tomato, and Almond Quinoa Salad, Avocado, Black Bean and Corn Salad with Lime-Cumin Vinaigrette, and Tomato, Mozzarella, and Basil Quinoa Salad.
What’s in the Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie?
You need just three basic ingredients to make this strawberry coconut milk smoothie:
- Strawberries
- Pineapple chunks
- Silk Coconut Milk
- Ice (if needed)
- Agave or sweetener of choice (optional)
How to Make a Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie
I’m sure I don’t need to tell you how to make this strawberry and pineapple smoothie! Just add everything to a blender and blend until smooth.
Should I Use Fresh or Frozen Fruit?
Either will work. However, if you use fresh fruit I’d recommend adding ice to the blender as well to create a frostier smoothie.
Can I Add Rum?
Go for it! If you’d like to transform this pineapple strawberry coconut milk smoothie into a frozen strawberry piรฑa colada, add a splash of your favorite rum.
Tips for Making a Strawberry Piรฑa Colada Smoothie
I thought the smoothie was sweet enough just from the fruit, but you’re welcome to add some agave, honey, or maple syrup to sweeten it further.
I used frozen fruit because I find that adding ice to smoothies makes them taste watered down. However, if you only have fresh fruit on hand go ahead and add some ice to the blender.
Freeze any leftover smoothie mixture to enjoy later on.

This is totally my kind of smoothie! I simply love pina coladas!
I love them too :)
These photos are beyond gorgeous!!!
I tried my friend, I tried. You just never know what you’re going to get some days and on some shoots. Thank you!! xo
I don’t typically care for coconut milk, but I might make an exception for this recipe! Mmmm!
It’s not a strong coconut milk flavor like you would think of with coconut milk in a can. Much more subtle and doesn’t overpower things.
This smoothie looks amazing! I need it in my life!
