I love using Greek yogurt in my cooking and baking. It helps my baked goods turn out moist, soft, and fluffy.
With rare exception, I use it interchangeably with sour cream. It’s thick and rich like sour cream, but isn’t as much of a caloric lead balloon.
Almost all cake, muffin, and quickbread batters benefit from it. Here are 25 Recipes that Use Greek Yogurt:
1. Six-Banana Banana Bread – Six bananas are packed into one loaf for full-on banana flavor and this loaf ties with the loaf below for my overall favorite banana bread recipe
2. Banana Bread with Vanilla Browned Butter Glaze – Vanilla is used four times in this straightforward, easy recipe that never lets me down. It turns out moist and perfect every time
3. Spiced Apple Banana Bundt Cake with Vanilla Caramel Glaze – The glaze on this cake is my favorite glaze or frosting that I have on my entire site. It’s crazy good.

I’m kind of am obsessed with your blueberry yogurt cake right now. Or I would just eat it :)
I can honestly say Chobani Yogurt is my favorite. I love the flavors and the twang. I would definitely just eat some–black cherry is my favorite. I have been thinking about making some popsicles. I have been thinking this would be a great recipe to try. https://spoonful.com/recipes/strawberry-yogurt-chocolate-chip-popsicles
I would eat it straight up!
wow! what a list!
Greek yogurt is great, but super expensive to buy! I make my own! That way, I save about 50% the cost, and it has no extra added ingredients!! I can also control just how thick I want it – strain it a bit longer and I get cream cheese!!
I love greek yogurt as well. Such a choice over here :)
I would try the carrot cupcakes that you posted above!
I almost always use it in place of sour cream in recipes (like muffins or cupcakes).
I usually just eat Greek yogurt as a snack, but also enjoy it in smoothies
I love eating it for breakfast or putting it into banana breads!
I use it in place of sour cream
I always get plain CHO to make my own flavors but I also love a premade flavor now and then, too. I’m so excited for all the new ones coming out!
One of my favorite recipes for yogurt is this DIY coffee yogurt: https://floptimism.blogspot.com/2013/02/simple-sunday-diy-coffee-yogurt-hold.html
I love making parfaits with greek yogurt, fruit, cereal, and nut butter!
I love greek yogurt! Especially as a “frosting”, mixing with coconut flour, stevia and some cocoa powder!
Happy 4th Averie! So happy you made this recipe round up! I love Greek yogurt and you are so right, it’s perfect for baked goods ;) I like to make Greek yogurt pancakes. They’re so thick and fluffy!
In overnight oats! I never measure, but yogurt, a handful of oats, splash of milk, (never enough) berries, a few raisins, and (probably too much) cinnamon! These are great to make ahead for breakfast the next day!
