How To Make Chocolate Covered Strawberries

This is really so simple but in case you’ve never done it, simply melt about 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat on high power for 1 minute, stop to check and stir, and then heat in 15 second bursts until the mixture can be stirred smooth.

Dip washed and dried strawberries in the melted chocolate and place them on a parchment covered baking sheet or large plate until they set. You can speed this process up by placing the tray in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.

Tips For The Best Chocolate Covered Strawberry Martini

If you have an Aldi market in your area, their Petit Chocolate Wine is great and is a lower price alternative to Chocovine or Godiva liqueur.

You can make your own strawberry vodka by adding sliced strawberries to vodka in a mason jar and let sit for at least two days before using.

I tried to link to the various alcohols and liqueurs on Amazon but wasn’t having much luck. I suggest sourcing them at your local well-stocked liquor store or if you have a BevMo or similar type big box alcohol retailer in your area, even better.
