From my last post about Hair Products I Use, thanks for filling me in on some of your favorites.  I’m glad the beauty and hair product junkies readers came out to comment.  It’s not just food and games around here.  I like to talk hair and MAC Makeup, too.

And okay, chocolate talk is a beautiful thing, too.

Questions:

1. Have you seen any great recipes lately around the ‘sphere or made anything recently that you’re especially proud of?

2. Weekend Plans?

I’m working, and Scott is going to be home.  After a week of single parenting and working fulltime, I’m ready for a break and some help!

And we may go on some Easter egg hunts (the plastic variety) and the Easter Bunny will  probably stop by with a Easter Basket goodies.

Happy Easter, Happy Passover, and Happy Earth Day (belated)!

  1. omg… smores in a jar? Where do I sign? I NEED to make that in some way, shape, or form. hubba hubba…

  2. Ooh, that roasted vegetable tart looks delicious; very pizza-like.

I haven’t even figured out what to make for Easter tomorrow; I’m paralyzed with too many choices!

  3. Believe it or not, my cat somehow managed to press send on my previous post before I was done editing! Hahaha … I was just going to say that I brought the pizza into work and it disappeared immediately. I am still dreaming about it now :)

  4. Love the post and thanks for giving us more recipe ideas! I think I’m gunna make the Pumpkin Pie Dough Balls this AM for my fiance :) YUM!

    1) I made Angela’s (ohsheglows) Peanut Butter Jam & Banana Pizza 2 nights ago. I have NEVER been more proud of myself; it was SO good and it turned out perfect!!! I don’t think I’ve ever eaten anything so good!!! I honestly can’t stop thinking about it (brough Here’s her link: https://ohsheglows.com/2010/09/08/peanut-butter-jam-banana-breakfast-pizza/

    2) Tonight we’re celebrating Easter over a family dinner. I’m used to a huge gathering with extended family on Easter Sunday over brunch, but this year I will be spending it with my fiance’s family and they just aren’t as big on get-togethers (nor is his extended family nearby). So, I will miss my fam this year (who’s all in Ohio, I now live in Nebraska!) but, sometimes you gotta make sacrifices right? :)

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  5. I recently made a vegetarian chili I was super proud of! Nothing spectacular but it sure tasted good :))) I was surprised I was actually able to make it due to being a horrible cook most of the time ha! You can see a picture here – https://chelseaalysse.tumblr.com/post/4854332592 and then someone asked for ingredients so those are here ha – https://chelseaalysse.tumblr.com/post/4854514294

& mmmm the Super Fluffy Peanut Butter Carob Chip Pancakes, The Tart of No, and “Know Your Roots” Salad look soo soo yummy !

  6. All of those recipes caught my eye this week too! They all look delicious!

For Easter tomorrow, we are going to church, going to the Husband’s Grandma’s house, and then going to Maggiano’s with my family.

    1. maggiano’s….SUCH a Chicago area staple :) Oakbrook Maggiano’s = lots of meals and drinks there!

  7. These all look so delish! I need more meals in a day!

I hope you have a great weekend! We need some good weather here in Ohio…rain, rain, rain!

  8. I love these posts! Such a great idea. Also, your blog has such a great and positive energy about it – and your photography has really evolved recently – you’ve made leaps and bounds and it’s been awesome to watch you develop such an awesome passion and talent.
