How are you doing today? I’ve been a busy girl! Today I went to an awesome yoga class! I did the full primary series with about 15 other yogis and yoginis and it was great to have that group energy and positive, warm, lovely vibe going! In yoga we call this sense of community Sangha. As you may recall, I am in the midst of completing the highest level of yoga certification, the 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher credential and I am almost finished (I’ve had my 200 hour RYT since 2002). It was just great to be with other yogis today. I needed that! What have you been up to?

Next Tip: Salad Dressing Recipes Galore! I have never seen such an extensive list for homemade salad dressings. Check it out!
What’s your favorite Salad Dressing? Mine is, hands down, the Homemade Vegan Slaw Dressing. Sweet, tangy, perfect for me because we all know I love my sweeter things!
Close second would then be the Vegan Holiday-Spice Orange Vinaigrette
And for a more savory and tart dressing, my Creamy Tahini “Cesar”-Inspired Dressing is a great one, too!
What’s your Favorite Salad Dressing? Storebought suggestions welcome! The reasons I make my own is that most dressing contain either a lot of dairy/gluten-based ingredients which I avoid, or contain lots of added sodium, random HFCS, or just taste meh, and the organic ones are expensive! Sorry, but $6 bucks for a tiny little bottle of Annie’s doesn’t work for me. So that’s another reason in addition to controlling the ingredients why I make my own: being frugal!
(And a quick shoutout to thank Chrysta, Cindy, Maureen, and so many others who have written me to tell me you’ve made my salad dressings!)
Next question: I am in the planning & development stages of a Yoga and Raw/Vegan Foods Retreat this Summer!!!!!!!! It will be in San Diego. Most likely in mid-August. What is the interest level among my blog readers in attending?? The name of the game for the week will be FUN TIMES on the BEACH!!! Whether you are new to yoga or to the raw-ish and veggie-oriented lifestyle, that is totally fine! Don’t let your level of where you are on your journey with yoga or food choices be the deciding factor in attending!
I already have beachfront accommodations secured, but is this something that would even remotely be on your radar screen? And what would cause you to decide to attend or not? Tell me now, please!
