Hi Friends! How has your Christmas Eve day been? Santa dropped off one of Skylar’s gifts a day early. Mommy needed a new toy to help entertain Skylar since it’s been raining all day. Santa was kind enough to deliver this one, a day early.
It was either a new toy, or lots of this. Kidding! Rain rain, go away, please!
Thanks for everyone’s feedback and comments on my post earlier today about being Sugared Out. I am glad you enjoyed my take on moderation, sugar, desserts, and food and exercise choices, in general. Sounds like some of you are sugared out, but many more of you said, not yet.
Really?
Ok then…This one has sugar, chocolate, and peanut butter all in one. And crunch factor. And it takes 5 minutes to make and one bowl and baggie or tupperware to make. Perfect!

Questions
1. How has your day been and what did you do?
Unfortunately it rained here. All day. Thus, we needed to break out a toy to keep morale up, and boredom low, are here. And keep the parents sane!
2. Plans for tonight and tomorrow? Are you staying put or running around to many different places?
We are happily staying put at home. The island is a zoo, the crowds are out in full force, the traffic on the tiny island is at fever pitch, and we are staying in and enjoying the peace from our happy little abode.
3. Do you have any holiday traditions either growing up, or now?
When I was a child, we’d go to Christmas Eve Mass, come home and eat a fancy dinner that always included shrimp. Too bad I became highly allergic to it in my early 20s.
Then, after dinner, tons of decadent holiday desserts, and time with the extended family, we’d open all the wrapped gifts from my parents and relatives. Santa gifts were never wrapped in my house; he was too busy to wrap with all those other kids on his route he had to deliver to.
My sister and I would go to bed Christmas Eve night, but we’d sleep with one eye open. You know, not wanting to miss Santa’s arrival, and all. And about 6am we’d race downstairs to see what he brought us and go to town playing with our new toys.
That was how Christmas went when I was growing ho. How did yours go? Or how does it go now, if you celebrate? What are your holiday traditions?
See you back here tomorrow morning. Be good because Santa is on his way! Merry Christmas, everyone!
