This post is in partnership with The Quaker Oats Company.
Oatmeal isย hearty, filling, and there are so many ways to make it new again.
Get out of your boring oatmeal rut and get ready for a breakfast that’ll help prepare you to take on the day.
There’s texture and flavor galore including bananas drizzled with melted peanut butter and a touch of cinnamon, fresh and juicy pomegranate arils, and a diced Quakerยฎ Chewy Granola Bar with chocolate and strawberries.
If you want to swap peanut butter for almond butter, use fresh blueberries or strawberries rather than pomegranate, or use your favorite dried fruit and nuts, go for it. Use what you have on had and whatever will get you excited to eat your oatmeal.
I partnered with Quakerย and want to share their upcoming Bring Your Best Bowl contest. You’re encouraged to submitย your most delicious oatmeal creation using 2 to 5 everyday ingredients for a chance to win $250,000 and for your oatmeal flavor to debut on store shelves. See the bottom of the post for the full contest details.

I love pomegranate seeds, but I have never known how to use them in a recipe other than to top a salad. Thanks for this great idea!
So pretty and sounds super filling! Love that you loaded yours up with bananas and PB, I sure do love me some peanut butter!! Making this for breakfast tomorrow!ย

Hope you enjoy it!
Now this is what I call loaded. I don’t think I’ll be able to have lunch after a bowl of this oatmeal. Peanut butter and banana makes oatmeal awesome.
This oatmeal is GORGEOUS!! All those colors and textures – it’s the perfect breakfast!
Thanks for the compliments :)
What a gorgeous breakfast bowl! ย I love peanut butter & banana… ย and the addition of the granola bars is brilliant!
Peanut butter and banana is the best combo ever!
I made crockpot oatmeal for breakfast yesterday and my daughter said, “Why don’t people love oatmeal? It’s so yummy!”. I take a page out of your book and let them have add-ins–frozen blueberries cool down them temperature of the hot oatmeal and that’s the most requested around here, but spices and raisins and craisins are right up there, too. Thanks for the additional suggestions. I eat oatmeal as a snack … call me weird …
When I was in grade school and high school, I had oatmeal as a snack in the winter all the time! With a mountain of brown sugar, a big dollop of butter, raisins, and sometimes some heavy cream drizzled. Wish I still had that metabolism :)
I love that you made a crockpot full and great tip about just using frozen blueberries in it!
This is definitely a beautiful bowl of oatmeal! ย I have it every morning for breakfast and I’m always looking for a way to shake it up. ย I love the pomegranate seeds in there. ย And the pieces of granola bar look like they give it a great texture!
I love that you have oatmeal every morning!
Yum! This seriously looks DELICIOUS!m ย I love oatmeal for breakfast!

Looks delicious!ย
I love this bowl…peanut butter and bananas are the best combo…yum!!!
I will always love that combo!
This elevates oatmeal to gourmet status! I love your flavor combinations in this one and you’re right–the sky’s the limit for toppings. Toasted coconut and blueberries also popped into my head.
They would be awesome. I also wanted to do strawberries but when I went to the store for either blueberries or strawberries, being that they’re so out of season, they didn’t look so hot…but pomegranate to the rescue!
I’m coming to your house for breakfast! This looks AMAZZZZZZZZING! I am at a constant drool already! Get me some of this goodness!!!!I try to look away and I just can’t!
I know a lot of people are all about the almond butter, but I like it your way better. There’s just something about peanut butter that (for me, anyway) kicks every other nut butter’s behind!
This bowl looks amazing!
I wrote an entire cookbook about peanut butter! So for me, too, peanut butter will always reign supreme!
