Wishing you a very Merry Christmas from Aruba!

Merry Christmas from Aruba

I hope you’re spending the day with family and loved ones, unwrapping presents, and making sure there are no leftover Christmas cookies. Wouldn’t want them getting stale or anything.

Whatever you’re doing today, I sincerely hope it’s exactly what you want to be doing and what makes you the happiest.

Maybe it’s reading a favorite 900-page book, going for a mind-clearing run, or just dangling your toes in water.

Thank you for reading my blog, making my recipes, leaving me comments, and stopping by my little space here. I just love it and am so grateful. I really, really am so grateful and appreciative for all of you. Thank you.

Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2013!

  2. Merry Christmas, Averie! Thank you for creating and keeping such an interesting blog: a place where I come to re-fuel myself, to meet with you, my friend, and to taste some really good treats! I wish you a happy time with your family! Then come back here and, please, share some photo of Skylar unwrapping her gifts… :)
We are having a white Christmas: it started to snow about two hour ago! Doesn’t happen too often in this parts of the country :)

    1. Thanks for your sweet comments, always – and for being so thoughtful and kind. I look forward to reading each of your comments when I see you name pop up on my email.

Stay warm in that white Xmas you just had! :)

  3. I’m so jealous that you are spending Christmas in Aruba – lots of sunshine and sand! Have a good one!

  4. Have a very Merry Christmas, Averie :). I’m planning on a relaxing day of present opening, baking, reading, and movie watching. It should be a welcome break.

  5. Merry Christmas to you and your family Averie! My plans today involve breaking in my new, very brightly colored running shoes. I feel like making a post run smoothie so I’m going to try your eggnog chai recipe….very fitting for Christmas day! I’m trying to decide whether to throw in a scoop of protein powder or a shot of rum (with a sly little grin on my face)! We are staying in town to spend the day with my husband’s family so we’ll have a leisurely morning. Have a wonderful day!

    1. Brightly colored running shoes and an eggnog smoothie…with maybe some rum. Now that sounds like a perfect Xmas!
