Good Luck!
I make some super yummy chocolate and peanut butter brownies, but I love the chocolate dipped peanut butter balls my mom makes every Christmas! Sadly neither recipe is online…this mom of six doesn’t blog. Thanks for the chance to win!
I would love to make hummus and nut butters in the food processer!
I love the recipes on your blog and if I win I’m sure I’ll use the food processor to try even more of your recipes. This is my favorite recipe I’ve tried from the blog so far: Peanut Butter Cup Cookie Dough Crumble Bars and I can’t wait to make it again!
those are some of my fave bars ever! Great choice!
I just recently discovered your blog. I love peanut butter cookies and bars, and your Peanut Butter Cup Cookie Dough Crumble Bars were so delicious! I’m looking forward to trying more of your recipes.
Those are some of my fave bars ever! Great choice!
I LOVE peanut butter! But I would love to win this for one of my best friends/baking buddies who is getting married in a month and loves to bake (we are both broke college students)! She told me that she once tried to make a raw cheesecake with cashews but couldn’t get the texture right because of her low-quality food processor; she would love this!
For a simple, fast way to enjoy peanut butter, I love peanut butter apples
Or – what will you make using the food processor?
Oh god, I’ve been pining for a food processor just so I can make homemade peanut butter and veggie pate!!!! My blender cannot handle the load.
I dont so often use penaut butter but i have made
” Coconut Peanut Butter Magic Cake Bars ” and it was amazing ^^
So glad to hear you tried that recipe and it was amazing for you. I love those bars! I put them in my cookbook!
I’ve been wanting to try my hand at making my own peanut butter – this little processor would be perfect.
I love to eat my peanut butter with celery! Sort of eating it out of the jar, but not quite!
I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!
I would definitely be making my own pb! I have a daughter that is highly allergic to nuts, do you think sunbutter would substitute for pb in your recipes?
~Amy
It would REALLY depend on the recipe and the sunbutter. TJs SFSButter is quite runny; that’s the only one I buy. I don’t buy the Sunbutter brand b/c it’s 2x the price, nearly. The thicker it is, and closer to PB it is, the better you will be. In bars and things baked in a pan, you will likely be fine. For cookies or anything that has to hold it’s shape on it’s own; or where PB is used as the binder like in a no-bake bar or granola bar, it’s going to be very iffy. Baked and in pans, that is the safest bet.
Thank! I’ll have to try TJ’s, or rather have Maddy try it. I’ll try out some of your recipes with it.
~Amy
Garlic scape pesto!
My life changed when I started making my own peanut butter. The store bought varieties were always too sickly sweet or too salty. Now I can get the salt + sugar +peanut combo just right! I love my peanut butter with warm french toast. With caramelised bananas or chocolate.. or both if it’s a special occasion. I especially love Food Blogger Jessica’s recipe for crispy chocolate PB french toast (How Sweet It Is). She uses corn flake crumbs to get the toast crunchy. A very impressive breakfast dish for Sunday mornings. Would love to explore more of those delicious PB recipes in your cookbook!
Wow – I remember that recipe of hers, but forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder. It looks crazy good!
I cant wait to check out your book! I wish you all the success in the baking world! :)
My food processor is on the way out, so a new one would be very welcome! I’d use it to make nut butters and hummus, no question – I actually taught a recent visitor from England – where peanut butter is a rare delicacy – how to make nut butters of all varieties thanks to your helpful photos. :) Congrats on the book! I always knew since I found your blog, you’d end up writing one. You’re as talented with making things look and sound delicious as any other famous food blogger I follow.
Thanks for knowing I would write one and the vote of confidence you had in me!
If we could see ourselves like others do, imagine how loving the world would look. :)
Totally a happy accident you also happen to be a San Diegan, by the way. Found that out many blog posts after I found you. Love it here. So easy to maintain a healthy lifestyle, to allow indulgences like homemade cookie butter peanut butter…
Well isn’t that a small world! And I love your first line…isn’t that the truth. Have a wonderful weekend! :)
First of all, those food processor colors are so adorable. I want to make nut butters with a food processor…all kinds! I’ve also really wanted to try the lemon cheesecake recipe using cashews for the “cheesecake” portion. I’m sure this processor would do a mighty fine job
Wow – forgot about that recipe. Blast from the past!
That was the first recipe I found on your website….YEARS ago! Looks SO good.
Talk about years ago – like maybe 4! Thanks for being a long time reader & supporter!
