Good Luck!
a food processor?? what wouldn’t I make with a food processor?! hummus, pesto, ice cream, and of course peanut butter! I went through a phase in college where I carried a jar in my backpack! homemade pb would be more delicious and not to mention healthier!
I’d love to try making homemade peanut butter, especially after the tutorial you just posted–super helpful!
THe first thing I’d make is baby food for my twins
Id make some yummy fresh pesto. And I must try your homemade pb recipe of course!! Great giveaway, thanks!!
First thing I would make with the food processor is homemade peanut butter. After that, many batches of hummus will be made!
Cookbook looks divine! Peanut butter is pretty much the meaning of my existence! :) I also love how it’s so versatile, and all your recipes really take advantage of that! Oh and I LOOOVE all the available food processor colors! (especially Papaya and Orange) It sure would be a step up from the ol’ Magic Bullet.
Favorite way to enjoy peanut butter is in 1-1-1 cookies (1 cup pb, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg–not the healthiest, but simple, fun family recipe, and tasty)–or, just, you know, on everything. Carrots! That’s another one. I love dipping baby carrots into peanut butter!
https://www.averiecooks.com/2013/01/peanut-butter-chocolate-chunk-cookies.html – same thing! 1-1-1 cookies (but I’ve never heard them called that, but I love that term!) I use brown sugar in mine, and some choc chips, but same thing! I also have a 2010 recipe for the same thing with all white sugar, no chocolate.
I love adding it into my smoothies!
I have been wanting to make homemade peanutbutter itself for so long!! And I would LOVE to make Caramelized Peanut Butter and Banana Upside-Down Cake!!!
I love peanut butter and banana sandwiches- especially when they’re grilled! Mmmmmm
oh my goodness a food processor! I dont own one and I’m a food blogger! What the heck?!
I adore the frozen banana ice cream with PB. And I’d make your vegan PB banana bread!
I would make your white chocolate cinnamon chip peanut butter for my husband!
I wish I could think of a way that I DON’T like peanut butter! Sweet, savory, straight up or part of a recipe…peanut butter is the jam! And Averie, your homemade PB recipes are the best!!!
Peanut Butter Cup Pancakes are a serious fav right now! — https://minimalistbaker.com/peanut-butter-cup-pancakes-vegan-gluten-free/
I LOVE PB. So I use it in/on muffins, cookies, cakes, bars, oatmeal, spoons.
Wow, I’d use the Food Processor for many things. Especially nut/dried fruit combining. It would be cool for dips too!
Just want to mention, I love your site, Averie!
I have a Peanut Butter Soda Cracker Cookie that I make. It’s one of our favorites and is so easy! It’s a no-bake recipe. I love those in the summer months!
