Pool Afternoon Pictures, Tropical Fruit

Hi Friends!  Don’t adjust your dial, this is a second post from me today.  I figure all the cool girls post twice a day and since I am on vacation and have a little extra time on my hands, I would, too.

I picked up some fresh, local papaya today

This huge tub was only about $2 bucks in US Dollars.  A Steal!

I like papaya, but Skylar loves it.

I love Fresh Local Pineapple, more so than papaya, but no complaints since we ate the whole tub in 10 minutes.

As I mentioned this morning, the weather wasn’t looking great and it rained and was sunny, on and off all day.  So, we didn’t want to venture to the beach just in case we had to make a mad dash back inside…

…We hit up the pool in our complex, instead.

I tried to put my feet up and just chill for a minute on my chaise lounge!  Didn’t last long, but I tried.

From my post earlier today about Fun Food Facts, I am glad you enjoyed the facts and most of you said they were new to you, so I’m glad I posted them.

As far as the discussion about Diet Pills went, most of you were on the same page as me.  Not into pills.  For those of you who missed the discussion, I hope you check that article out and chime in.  And for those of you who’s comments weren’t posted, it’s because my commenting system thought that your use of the word “diet pill” in your comment was possibly spam and they went into moderation, but I got them and read them.

Dessert: Vegan Coconut Banana Cookie Bites
You can make this in either the oven or a dehydrator and they’re a great way to use up extra bananas.

Next tip: I have a Guest Post up on Kristen’s Green Mommy Blog about Breastfeeding and Nursing.  I am a certified lactation educator (one of the many hats I wear).  The post is up now so for any current or future mommies who have nursing questions, you may want to check it out.

Questions
1. Do you like papaya?
Yes, but if we’re talking tropical fruit, I’d rather have mango or pineapple.  But the papaya was such a deal$$ that I couldn’t pass it up!

2. Favorite fruit?
Mine would be mango, grapes, pineapple, cherries, apricots…ok, I’m getting carried away, haha!

3. Super random question, but I need recommendations for hair ties that don’t pinch, i.e. rip out, my hair or slip out?
If I wrap normal ponytail holders around twice, they are a little too loose and slip out when I run or am active.  If I wrap them around three times, getting them out is a real ripfest.  Any recommendations for that “perfect” ponytail holder?  It’s the little things that make me happy…hah!

See you tomorrow for a 12 Days and Recipes of Christmas Post that’s a Sugar Fest in the best way!
