How are you doing today?  Are you staying warm?  Seems like everyone’s had brutal weather this week so hopefully you’re nice and toasty!  I went out and froze my boo-tay off in an attempt to get a little alone time run in, but after 3 chilly miles said screw it.  Came inside for some yoga.  Ahhh, much better!   I sure had my yoga students sweating and huffing and puffing in class last night.  I actually didn’t think I was working them that hard, but I realized after they were dripping in sweat I should probably slow the flow down a little!  For those of you who participate in group fitness classes, do you prefer it if the teacher errs on the side of working you a little harder or a little lighter?  For me, when I take classes, if I don’t get the workout in I was craving, I am bummed so I try not to ever have anyone leave what that lackluster I-didn’t-get-a-good-workout-in-feeling.

I am really glad you enjoyed yesterday’s Raw Vegan Sugar Cookie Dough Balls!  Such an easy recipe, tastes just like the real thing, without the pound of butter and heavy flour action.

I hope you try them and impress all your holiday guests!  The lovely Jenny asked me what my fave ball recipe (TWSS!) ishmmm.  So hard to pick.  But towards the bottom of this post, I did pick 4 of  my faves if that narrows it down at all for you!

Stay Tuned For Sporadic Posting & Lots of Awesome Guest Posts!  Yes friends, I am going to be taking a holiday trip with my family.  We normally “save up” our vacation time and do one big trip per year and we leave tonight.  So, with that said, there will be lots of posts, some of them mine and some from some awesome guest posters!!!

I’ll be reading everyone’s blogs, and your comments to me, and will try my best to leave as many comments as I can for all my bloggie friends, but I am going to set some personal computer-time and blog-time limits for myself because this is my chance to break away and unplug for awhile. My goal is more fresh air, less computer screenMore time with my family, less time uploading pics and typing.  I think you get the drift.

So questions of the day and something to think about as we wind down 2009:
1. Have you accomplished something monumentous that you can look back on and say HELL YEAH! I did something great, something that mattered, something I will remember in 5 or 10 years?  What was it?
For me it would be helping to shape and mold my daughter into a lovely, kind, compassionate person through consistent, kind, compassionate fulltime mothering and parentingThat matters.
The fact that I ate Brussel’s Sprouts or that I am high raw really does not compare for me.

2. What are your New Year’s Intentions for 2010?  Notice I did not say Resolutions.  Resolutions can be broken.  But no one can “break” your intentions.  They are yours and yours alone.  So what intentions do you plan to set?
I intend to live more in the present, plan less, and not feel the need to justify my actions to the world.  I did it, yep, so what.  Who cares, I wanted to.  No explanations warranted.  That kind of thing.  What are your intentions?

Happy Holidays and I’ll talk with you in a few days!!!!!!!!!!!!
