Raw Vegan Chocolate Mousse

Combine in Vita-Mix or Food Processor
2 ripe avocados
1/2 c agave
1/4 c cocoa powder

Optional:
2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
Dash Vanilla Extract

Blend until smooth and serve

Put in container and chill in fridge, or freeze to make it really decadent like a thick mousse-ey ice cream, or make it pretty and do it up parfait style in glasses alternating layers of chocolate mousse and strawberries or other fruit.  Or as I mentioned, you can even thin it out a smidge more with an extra dash of agave and this will become your go-to frosting.  Serious.

  1. Wow…a lot of entries already! This is my entry, as I would love to try them simply because they're a new, nutritious way for me to consume more fruit–a goal, as it's always been a challenge for me (much prefer veggies). I would love to try!

  2. Maan, this was a toughie!
Entry #3, you're on my blogroll now !
I had subbed to your blog already, because that blogroll update thing, – well, I'm not so good at it.
Point in case, – I deleted the content of one of my sidebars in the process *yahurgl*
But blogroll ye wanted and blogroll ye gots ;)

  3. Aaand entry #2 for number 5:

I like that there's Chia seeds in the fruition bars, – over here in Germany we still aren't allowed to buy chia, – which really sucks, – so that is something I would even more LOVE to try the Fruition bars for.
Because coming from a family with a background of cardio-vascular diseases, I need all the help I can get to stay and keep my family healthy.

  4. This is my #1 entry for, – well, leaving a comment here.
I would really enjoy winning these, – basically because we may have some whoopass vegan spreads here, but not sooo many other cool vegan things (yet, – I hope this will change and more goodies will finally come our way :) )

  5. Entry #2 – Checked out ProBar's site and learned that they have 3 different product lines with insanely yummy sounding flavors. Who knew?

  6. Hmmm, why do I want to win one? Ummm, because they look and sound yummy!! Thanks for going through the work and having great giveaways! You're awesome!

  7. Entry #5 I learned that these bars have Chia Seeds, which I'm dying to try, but can't find them at my local WF and haven't had time to make it to the local organic health food store. Anyway, Yea Chia Seeds!

  8. Entry #2 – Just learned that there are 2 servings of fruit in every bar! Not that I don't get enough enough fruit every day already…:)
