Quick and Easy Snickers Dip Recipe
Who can resist dip made with candy bars? Not me!
I am a dip queen. I can make a meal out of dips, but most of my dip recipes are savory. It’s about time to sweeten things up.
A fun twist on caramel apple dip, this Snickers dip is made with tangy cream cheese, chopped Snickers bars, peanuts, and there’s melted milk chocolate and salted caramel swirled throughout. I’ve always loved Snickers, and the dip is my new favorite way to eat them.
Dangerously fast and easy to make, this dip is ready in 10 minutes, and the texture contrast of the smooth cream cheese with the chewy Snickers, crunchy peanuts, and melted chocolate and caramel is just heavenly.
It’s incredibly rich and filling and perfect with graham crackers, Nilla wafers, Oreos, or really just a spoon. Perfect for a holiday, birthday party, or weekday treat, it’s a delicious party dip everyone will love!
Homemade Snickers Dip Ingredients
This sweet dip comes together with just a few ingredients. Here’s what you need:
- Milk chocolate – I use chocolate chips, but any kind of milk chocolate will work
- Cream cheese – Make sure to use full-fat, brick-style cream cheese, not cream cheese from a tub
- Confectioner’s sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Salted peanuts
- Snickers candy bars – Use full-sized bars chopped into pieces or Snickers bites, which are mini-sized candy bars
- Salt
- Caramel sauce or salted caramel sauce – Use store-bought or homemade caramel sauce
- Graham crackers, Nilla wafers, Oreo cookies, etc. for dipping

How to Make Snickers Cream Cheese Dip
This no-bake dessert dip is a cinch to make! Here’s an overview of the recipe:
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
- Beat the cream cheese and confectioner’s sugar on medium-high speed until smooth and fluffy, scraping down the sides of the bowl as necessary.
- Add the vanilla, and beat on medium-high speed to incorporate. Then, add the peanuts, chopped candy, and optional salt, and stir by hand.
- Add the cooled milk chocolate, and caramel sauce, and fold to incorporate them into the mixture. Be careful not to overmix! You want to see swirls of white, chocolate, and caramel.
- Pour the dip into a bowl, and sprinkle Snickers pieces on top. For extra flavor, feel free to add a caramel drizzle, sea salt, brown sugar, or peanut butter, too. Then, serve with dippers of your choice such as pretzels and apple slices.
Recipe FAQs
Snickers dip is best served right away. However, if you have leftovers, you can transfer them to an airtight container, and store the dip in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
I don’t recommend it! The dairy is likely to separate, and the dip will become runny once thawed. Luckily, it’s super quick to whip up fresh.
You want the base of the dip to be super smooth and creamy. So, using a hand mixer or stand mixer is best. That said, if you don’t have one, you can mix the ingredients by hand. The dip is just more likely to be a little chunky.

Snickers Dip
Equipment
- 1 Microwave-Safe Bowl
- 1 Stand Mixer or Hand Mixer
- 1 Large Serving Bowl
Ingredients
- 4 ounces milk chocolate, melted and cooled for 10 minutes
- 12 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature (I used light cream cheese)
- ½ cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup salted peanuts, roughly chopped if desired
- 1 heaping cup Snickers, diced small plus 3 tablespoons for garnishing (I used four 1.86-ounce full-size Snicker bars; 3 1/2 bars in the dip and 1/2 bar for garnishing)
- pinch salt, optional (to balance the sweetness)
- ⅓ cup caramel sauce or salted caramel sauce (storebought or homemade
- graham crackers, Nilla wafers, Oreo cookies, etc. for serving
Instructions
- To a medium, microwave-safe bowl, add the chocolate and heat on high power to melt, about 1 minute. Stir until smooth and set aside to cool.
- To the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment (or large mixing bowl and electric handheld mixer), add the cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, and beat on medium-high speed until smooth and fluffy, about 2 to 3 minutes. Stop to scrape down the sides of the bowl as necessary.
- Add the vanilla and beat on medium-high speed to incorporate, about 30 seconds.
- Add the peanuts, 1 cup Snickers, optional salt, and stir in by hand.
- Add the cooled milk chocolate, caramel sauce, and fold to incorporate using a spatula. Don’t overmix because you want to see swirls of white, chocolate, and caramel.
- Turn dip out into a serving bowl, evenly sprinkle with about 3 tablespoons Snickers, and serve immediately with graham crackers, Nilla wafers, Oreos, etc. or your favorite dippers. Dip will keep airtight in the fridge for up to 5 days.

This is some serious indulgence! I’d be in heaven with a spoon. Maybe it would seem a little less sinful if I ate it with apple slices?
At least you’d get your fruit servings in that way :)
