  2. Hello, your recipes all look amazingly delicious! One question though (as I am having the same problem with my oven at home), most of the cakes in the photos look as if they are not baked througroughly and are still “raw” at the bottom, or is it just the photo? Do the baking times then in your recipies need to be extended? Thank you so much :-)

    1. That isn’t rawness. It’s the density of the bananas ‘sinking’. It is rich and delicious that part, but it’s not raw.

    1. I never have so I can’t say for sure. Start with a cup-for-cup style replacement of AP with GF flour intended for baking would be for starters. From there I cannot advise.

  3. I think toppings, fillings and extra ingredients can be added to any recipe, but getting the basic right counts first and foremost. Banana bread seem to come in several basic forms, light cake like, to denser firm but moist, and also vary from quite light sponge like in colour to ginger bread brown. So, what baking and recipe changes lead to these differences in the basic recipe?

    1. Every change causes an impact in the results based on sugar level, amount of eggs, amount of bananas, flour, etc. You have to experiment and see what you like best for your tastes and based on what you have on hand, i.e. if you only have 2 ripe bananas but the recipe call for 3-4, that’s not your recipe on that particular day.
