I always make a nice dinner, or we order out. I will make a cheesecake for dessert too!
I always make heart-shaped sugar cookies and frost/decorate them. My kids are all grown up but they still like having special cookies on Valentine’s Day. :)
OMG!!! Looks like I may have to reconsider my new year’s resolution to cut down on sugar!!
Valentines Day for me is all about spending quality time with the husband. This year I will probably surprise him with a gourmet French dinner that he’s never had before, since I’m French. I’m thinking Coq au vin, aka Chicken with wine. yum! Recipe here: https://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/coq_au_vin/
I’m gonna gorge on plenty of delicious chocolate…chocolate cake probably :)
Man I haven’t even thought about it yet! Maybe I’ll try a Red Velvet Cake out of coconut flour?
Valentines Day is also my wedding anniversary. My husband and I will celebrate our 19th anniversary with dinner and a movie!

I have no plans for vtines day! As it falls in the middle of the week no doubt hubby will have to work late.
I was thinking some strawberry cupcakes for the kids then I realized my youngest is leaving for Florida on Valentine’s Day. Lucky child! I am also thinking a variety of cookies would be great to share with friends and loved ones–especially the cranberry and white chocolate chip cookies.
Red velvet cake truffles
I haven’t ironed out all my valentine’s plans for the hubby but it will include a great dinner and the traditional heart underwear I get him every year.
