I’m going to make a nice valentine cake maybe decorated with some decorated heart shaped sugar cookies and candies.
We actually don’t celebrate Valentines Day, but when I was little my mom would make PB bonbons every year. That’s the only time she’d make them. Maybe I need to learn.
we will probably cook a special dinner together!
I’ll be making dinner and going out to eat the Saturday before. I shop sales so who knows what we’ll have!

I usually make heart shaped cut out sugar cookies for the kids, but I also want to try your Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Cookies with PB Cups & PB M&M’s – they look yummy!
I always make my heart-shaped chocolate chip cookie! The family expects it now. They eat it right down and I love to make heart-shaped anything.
I will probably not be making a special dessert as we have cut a lot of that out except for special occasions. The pictures look great and I plan on saving this post to look into each recipe more.

Valentine’s Day is a special occasion but not my favorite at all. :( We chose not to celebrate it in our home. Just another day…….I know the chocolate and card companies do not like people like me and that is ok.
My husband and I will go out to dinner then come home and watch some movies :)

I am making ribeye steak Mac and cheese and for dessert cute little mini red velvet cupcakes with heart shaped redhots to decorate the top!
I have been married to a wonderful man for about 33 yrs. At this point in our relationship he shows me everyday that I am special and that he loves me. I am blessed indeed. So I really donot need one day a year to remember that I am loved. We remember it and celebrate very quietly.
